Start Engineering (Southern) Ltd is a family-run business based in Maidstone, Kent. We hire, repair and service floor cleaning equipment, as well as offering sales and spares, covering an area which includes London, Kent, Sussex and parts of Essex.

We are service agents for Numatic, Wrangler, Demon, Florentini and other companies and maintain most types of industrial floor cleaning equipment. We also have a selection of scrubber dryers for hire if required.

Service contracts, repairs and parts available, with over 25 years' experience

We cover floor care and pressure washers sales and hire, and have worked in this field for more than 25 years. We offer a very quick breakdown service, which means less down time for your machines. Service rates for contract services can be arranged depending on the location and the number of machines on site to be serviced.

Repairs can be carried out on site if possible, or at our fully equipped workshop in Maidstone. Any parts required to be fitted will be agreed by you before fitting takes place. We also offer a full on site P.A.T. testing service to floor cleaning equipment if required
